stc Group’s digital expertise to develop Neutral Digital Infrastructure for Diriyah project
stc Group, an enabler of digital transformation, has signed a partnership agreement with the Diriyah Company to develop the neutral digital infrastructure for its 14 sq km urban development area.
The Diriyah project is a flagship initiative of Saudi Vision 2030 and a globally significant SAR 237 billion ($63.2 billion) urban development project funded by the Public Investment Fund.
The agreement will see stc Group design, build and operate a neutral host infrastructure, providing seamless wireless coverage for the urban development area hub irrespective of their service provider.
By partnering with stc Group, Diriyah Company aims to leverage this world-class digital infrastructure that will help to enable Diriyah in becoming a global smart city in providing high-speed wireless and wired connectivity for Diriyah City to the outside world.
Through its dedicated program 'newtrack', first launched in 2022, stc Group has been a key player in several mega national projects spanning the hospitality, residential and tourism sectors, solidifying its role as a trusted partner in the development of neutral digital infrastructures.
